Steven Fillman graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1993 with Distinction and in the top 10 percent of his class. He was a member of the Nebraska Law Review and Order of the Coif. From 1993 to 1997 he served as an active duty officer and attorney in the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He joined Fillman Law Offices in 1997. Steven’s areas of practice include civil and criminal trials, divorce and custody cases, wills, trusts and probate, corporate and business law, personal injury, real estate and collections. Nathan HeinzNathan Heinz graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University and the University of Nebraska College of Law with multiple awards. Among them were the CALI Excellence for the Future awards in Copyright Law and Sports Law for achieving the highest grade in the class. Heinz also attended the Weibling Entrepreneurship Clinic for small businesses, gaining experience in setting up Limited Liability Companies (LLCs.) He is a certified mediator.
Heinz is the grandson of Paul Toms who was superintendent of the York Public Schools for 25 years. He has many relatives in York and is excited to be part of such a thriving community. He does family law, criminal law, wills, trusts and estate planning, guardianships, corporate and business law |
Gordon B. Fillman (retired)Gordon B. Fillman graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Law in 1953. He served as a Legal Officer in the United States Navy from 1953-1957. He has been in private practice in York since 1958. He served as the counsel for Perennial Public Power as their attorney for 50 years and was the attorney for several nonprofit boards, including the York Community Foundation, Epworth Village Foundation, Kilgore Memorial Library Foundation, Greenwood Cemetery Association, and Pearson Manor Board.
